High Sierra Hardwoods is the result of one man staying true to the trade he fell in love with at 20 years old.
For Michael Tipon, flooring has never been just a job. It is something he studies, thinks about, and keeps growing in, even after 30 years in business. While most people finish the workday and shut it down, Michael is often still learning, earning certifications, researching products, talking with flooring companies, and looking for better options to bring his customers.
That is what makes his approach different.
He is not just focused on installing a floor. He cares about helping people make the right choice for their home, their lifestyle, and the way they want their space to feel for years to come. His Certified Professional Wood Flooring Sales training reflects that deeper level of knowledge, from materials and finishes to durability, design, and long-term value.
